Carry something beautiful today - in your hands, your heart...look for beauty around you - in the world, in another human being. Beauty soothes and heals.

Tomorrow, I am giving a workshop for Maryland Montessori educators and administrators. I am honored to be supporting educators at this time. One of the practices I’ll be sharing with them to resource them is this practice of orienting our attention toward pleasure — toward beauty. It softens and soothes our stressed out nervous systems. I wanted to share this with you, too.

A coaching client sent me this T-shirt with “Soul” written on the front of it for the first Soul Fuel community Zoom gathering this evening! My daughter said to me, “Your clients are so nice and thoughtful!”

She is right. Over the years, I’ve received such kindness and I’m grateful. I am learning to soak up every kind word and thoughtfulness sent to me. It can be hard to receive. And it’s humbling.

Keep dropping into this Sacred Trust.

That’s what I told a client the other day.

Sacred Trust.

We tend to think it’s all up to us - on our precious shoulders and backs.

It’s not.

Bring yourself into alignment.

Most often, that is found through dropping into some quiet.

Getting out of our heads.

Dropping into the body.

Getting outside.

And listening.

Listening with our whole bodies.

And then asking, “What feels like ease and joy in my body and soul right now?”

Do that.
Be that.

There are benevolent forces that want what you want. Listen and align with them. You are loved.
